I am having major computer problems this week. By major I mean the kind that makes the serviceman laugh out loud. Sigh. Thankfully, I have a laptop and I have Carbonite (and it would appear a new computer is in my very near future). However, I have had no time to be thoughtful and reflective and come up with a meaningful post. I hope you don't mind this re-post.
My husband and I have taught at several True Love Waits retreats over the years, and they always make me consider the nature of true love. Whether between spouses, among family members or friends, true love follows Christ's example. While I wouldn't presume to tackle the vast topic of Christ's love, I hope to provoke some thoughts.
What do you think True Love means?
That’s awful about the computer problems! Oh my. Um, but love to me…I always like to use a quote from Fyodor Dostoyevsky about love, when he said, “To love someone is to see them as God intended.” Which almost ties back to what you said about love following God’s example. I hope the computer problems vanish…a great post–re-post or not!
