1. The paperback proof for Resolute is on its way to me. Once that’s approved, it will go into production. Then depending on how long it takes Amazon to process the listing, the paperback AND Kindle version will release at last.
2. I changed email delivery systems from Feedblitz to MailChimp. MailChimp was handling my newsletter delivery already. You may notice a little difference in the format and the arrival time of the emails, but that should be it. (It will save me a few bucks a month too 🙂 ) I apologize for yesterday’s duplicate emails during the switch-over. (That’s what I get for doing it early. I also fixed that goofy RSITEM thing in the subject line. It was supposed to have another S. Spelling counts.)
3. If you don’t subscribe to the monthly newsletter with more in-depth book news, please consider adding yourself to that list. At some point, I’d like to get everyone consolidated to one list.
FINALLY a big personal note:
For almost three years now, we have been pursuing adoption. It’s been a long, slow process. Next Thursday, my husband and I are meeting with a birthmother. We have entered into an agreement to adopt her son. The baby is due October 7.
God has been on both sides of adoption. He lovingly adopts us into His eternal family. But He also carefully chose a family to raise His Son.
It is a cautiously exciting time, and we ask for your prayers.
