Peter spoke for the group. He said, “We’ve seen enough evidence.”
We know. We are certain. We are sure.
We are confident. We are committed.
Peter spoke what he knew about Jesus.
Jesus is the Christ, the chosen one of God. He is proof that God keeps His promises. He is the Intercessor between God and men. He is the only Savior and Redeemer.
He is equal to God in nature character and purpose.
He is self-existent, without beginning or end.
The crowds saw the same evidence the Twelve did, but many of them walked away.
I see that same evidence.
Every day, in countless situations, I am faced with the same decision …
When things are difficult, hard to understand and don’t follow my script will I cling to what I KNOW about Jesus?
Or will I work to find my own answers?
Believe or walk.
It’s a harder choice than it should be.
