Having a divided mind.
They all mean the same thing.
It is keeping our options open.
It is wanting it both ways.
It is compromising.
It is evident when we attach a “but.”
When we believe some of God’s promises, but not others,
When we believe He will help “them,” but not us,
When we say His words apply to some situations, but not others.
When we pursue holiness, but hold on to our favorite indulgences.
We are double-minded.
Jesus has called us to single-mindedness.
To faith without wavering.
To hope without doubt.
To love without limits.
